ABSTRACT
Riot grrrl-turned-suburban mother Kelly live an unhappy life, pining for the wilder exploits of her bygone youth; next-door neighbor Cal is a seventeen-year old boy confined to a wheelchair who makes a habit out of spying on Kelly with his telescope. A chance encounter between Kelly, married with a child, and Cal blossoms into an unlikely friendship, one that sees the pair bonding over their respective unsatisfactory lots in life and entertaining the idea of a tryst.
