In the antebellum South, a country physician Tibbett treats an ailing elephant named Zenobia, to great success. The elephant is very appreciative and follows him everywhere, and unfortunately elephants never forget. Hardy without Laurel due to contract negotiations, so Hal Roach paired him with Harry Langdon.
