A calamity aboard a research station orbiting a far-away planet prompts the attention of an embattled psychologist.

ABSTRACT
Remake of Solaris (1972). Psychologist Chris Kelvin, a man without parallel in his field stunted by the passing of beloved wife Rheya, is implored via bizarre video message to investigate strange happenings at the isolated Prometheus space station. Arriving at the station to find friend Gibarian dead and the few surviving crew members paranoid and hysterical, Kelvin is made aware of the presence of apparitions of long-dead friends and relatives produced by the star Prometheus is responsible for researching, thrust into a struggle against his own sanity when he is visited by specters of his dead wife.
