ABSTRACT
Created as a "Latina spin" on Jane Austen classic Sense and Sensibility, From Prada to Nada follows filthy rich sisters Mary and Nora as their father's unexpected death leaves them penniless and in the care of maternal aunt Aurelia. Forced to cope with heretofore unfamiliar standards of living, the sisters soon learn important lessons about the richness of family and counting one's blessings as they do their best to navigate a humble life in the barrio.
