The Strangler
The Strangler (1-Apr-1964)
Director: Burt Topper
Writer: Bill S. Ballinger
Music by: Marlin Skiles
Producers: Samuel Bischoff; David Diamond
Keywords: Horror
Low-budget horror/thriller of a misogynistic lab technician who has strangled eight nurses and the hunt to catch him. Chilling and ahead of its time, Buono is excellent but some wooden performances by other actors. Modeled after the Boston Strangler killings, which were happening at the time.
