ABSTRACT
Sequel to The Last Exorcism (2010). Declared insane and left to recovery in the care of a man named Frank Merle in New Orleans following her attempts to explain her infamous demonic possession, seventeen-year old Nell Sweetzer's seemingly peaceful attempts to construct a new life for herself are interrupted when she comes back in contact with a member of her old cult. Faced with a hard-to-refuse offer to protect herself from the chaos wrought by the demon Abalam, Nell must choose whether to continue on her present path or assist members of the cult in staving off an apocalyptic prophecy as oblivion looms large on the horizon.
