Seventh Star Wars episode follows a manhunt for a missing Luke Skywalker.
ABSTRACT
Seventh episode in the Star Wars (1977) canon. Luke Skywalker has disappeared thirty years following the second Death Star's destruction, sending the nefarious First Order into action as they seek to track him down, kill him, and finish the Jedi off for good. Leia Organa and the Resistance fight the First Order and their Death Star-clone "Starkiller Base", finding unlikely help in scavenger Rey, defected Storm Trooper Finn, and Han Solo himself.
Hailed by most critics and theatergoers as a return to glory for the long-running franchise, this is the first Star Wars film produced under the Disney umbrella. Nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Score.
