The French Minister
The French Minister (27-Aug-2013)
Original Title: Quai d'Orsay
Director: Bertrand Tavernier
Writers: Christophe Blain; Abel Lanzac
Keywords: Comedy
Greenhorn but capable Arthur Vlaminck is hired as speechwriter to the French Foreign Minister, Alexandre Taillard de Vorms. In this role he must balance absurd contradictory requests for his "words", his instructions often not meshing well with the diplomatic situation at hand. Decent political satire modeled after Antonin Baudry's experiences writing for Dominique de Villepin.
