ABSTRACT
Taking its name from a slang term for movie theaters notorious for "grinding out" large quantities of B-movie thrillers, Grindhouse combines the talents of directors Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino to bring viewers two feature-length exploitation offerings: Planet Terror, a zombie thriller about a go-go dancer's attempts to find sanctuary amidst an onslaught of the bloodthirsty creatures, and Death Proof, a slasher romp featuring cars in place of knives.
