This is one of my all time favorite tear jerkers. It says alot about what could and did happen to families when they put up the berlin wall. I believe that the woman who played the wife, (who you do not have listed) only had a short acting career but she was beautiful, and very talented. This would be one of Mr.Hudson's best dramas. Once I saw it, I never forgot it.
