ABSTRACT
High school teacher Ben, obsessed Boston Red Sox fan from a young age, meets and falls in love with businesswoman Lindsay during the baseball-free offseason. Ben's rabid fandom takes hold when spring rolls around, however, forcing him to find a way to balance his first love with the love of his life just as the Red Sox embark on their improbable 2004 World Series run.
