Paul Carrack is a British soul singer whose career began in 1972 with the band Ace (remembered primarily for their popular song How Long, written by Carrack) and has continued through too many different bands and collaborations to fully list. Some highlights include stints (sometimes simultaneously) with the likes of Squeeze, Roxy Music, Mike and the Mechanics, and Roger Waters and the Bleeding Heart Band -- with whom he particpated in the 1990 restaging of The Wall in Berlin.
