Noon Concert at Trinity Offers Music for Piano and Bassoon | Arts & Entertainment | Noozhawk

The next Noon Concert at Trinity Santa Barbara will be 12:15-12:45 Monday, April 7 for music by Philip Glass, Arvo Part, and Johannes Brahms at the church, 1500 State St.

Santa Barbara Symphony Principal Keyboard Artist Natasha Kislenko will be joined by LA Opera bassoonist William Wood for 30 minutes of midday musical magic.

Kislienko has been with the Santa Barbara Symphony since 2010. She is an alumna of the Music Academy of the West (2001). She has been a collaborative faculty member there since 2004.

After serving on the faculty at California State University, Fresno, for five years; she joined the faculty at UCSB in 2007, where she is currently a lecturer.

Bassoonist William Wood has worked at the LA Opera since 1994. He is also a member of the New West Symphony and the LA Master Chorale.

Noon Concerts are free and supported solely by donations. A $10 suggested tax-deductible donation goodwill offering is requested at the door.
