Sundbyberg Open 2022 | Events | Nordic Curling Tour

Sundbyberg Open is the smallest of the events on the tour but as the 3rd out of 4 stops on the tour this event looks to be decisive for the participating teams battling for the Nordic Curling Tour 2022-23 title.

Home favorites Team Hasselborg and Team Wranå reached the final with Wranå having hammer after being ranked 1st in the group stages. Eventually Team Hasselborg took the victory after a big score of 6 in the 6th end. 

Italys Team Constantini managed a big comeback in the last 2 ends against Team Henderson from Scotland to take the 3rd place finish.

In the mens division double reigning champions Team Rosander could not defend their title. Instead there was the Norwegian Team Hårstad that won te title after a very well played final.

Team Hårstad overcame Team Granbom in the final.

In the 3rd prize game Team Wranå (Mats Wranå) did not make it easy for Norways Team Øy and they won their second straight 3rd place finish. 

All teams participating in this event was guaranteed 4 tourpoints.
