The NZ had a part of their contingent travel home before the game and so they were four players short. Local players Ellis, Charlie Fattorini, and Fred and Frank Rounsville were selected to make up their number. Gates opened at 2:00pm. Entry to the ground was one shilling and an extra shilling for the grandstand. Children half price.
