Olympedia – Klaudia Hornung
Biography
West German rower Klaudia Hornung was a member of the coxed eights at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. She finished sixth with the crew. Hornung never won a national title. She later worked as a self-employed architect at Frankfurt on Main. In 2022, she died of head injuries caused when a taxi driver opened his door and knocked her off her bicycle. She was on the way to train at her rowing club.
