Girl Haunts Boy | Rotten Tomatoes

Audience Member PG films are meant to be simple, and easy to follow. They capture what it is to be a child, teenager and sometimes adult. Girl Haunts Boy is brilliant because it showcases grief and loneliness that follow a tragedy. Bea I believe represents what we want, but cannot have following tragedy. Cole is lonely, and Bea saves him from that, and yet we learn through the movie that Bea deserves to be free, and Cole needs to grieve. Although it may be cheesy, I personally cried for the last thirty minutes of the film, because accepting the truth versus wanting the opposite are framed in the film. Peyton List and Michael Cimino both have excellent performances, and this movie deserves a rewatch. I hope more PG films can be appreciated for their complexity, just like this one.
