Bob Thomas Associated Press This film is one of Bing Crosby's best, combining enough elements of entertainment to please the most jaded moviegoer. Jul 31, 2019 Full Review Steve Crum Video-Reviewmaster.com Under rated Crosby, Wyman romantic musical with Capra touch. steve d Pleasant but really dull. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The best movie song ever sung: In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review s r I'm a sucker for Crosby I guess. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member good late career directorial effort from master director, frank capra. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Frank Capra's comedy with music (the Oscar-winning "In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening") is a pleasant diversion. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The first twenty minutes are interminably slow, with all momentum stalled by two seemingly never-ending musical numbers. Once that's out of the way, things settle down into a decent lighthearted comedy, with a fine performance from Crosby and the usual Capra addition of a little social commentary. Cut out all the song and dance stuff, which mostly feels tacked on, and you've got yourself something a little more like the old Capra. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
