Infinity Pool (2023) | Rotten Tomatoes
- ️Fri Jan 27 2023
Turbulent waters even for strong swimmers, Infinity Pool provides a visceral all-inclusive retreat of Cronenbergian perversion for those wanting to escape commercial sundries.
Infinity Pool is definitely a wild time, but when it's trying to be scary or provocative, it's often just confusing.
Johnathan R I had to watch this movie twice (the 2nd time stoned) before I realized the magic of it. It’s a philosophical film. Exploring what depths of evil that humans could stoop to if no consequences for their actions and if they had plenty of wealth. Synopsis While staying at an isolated island resort, James (Alexander Skarsgård) and Em (Cleopatra Coleman) are enjoying a perfect vacation of pristine beaches, exceptional staff, and soaking up the sun. But guided by the seductive and mysterious Gabi (Mia Goth), they venture outside the resort grounds and find themselves in a culture filled with violence, hedonism, and untold horror. A tragic accident leaves them facing a zero tolerance policy for crime: either you'll be executed, or, if you're rich enough to afford it, you can watch yourself die instead.
