Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter There's something wrong when you're watching a post-apocalyptic thriller and all you can think about is how much the central characters would benefit from couples therapy. Mar 6, 2020 Full Review Lisa Kennedy Variety A dramatic quietude lifts this indie above the tumult of many exploitative, apocalyptic thrillers. Mar 6, 2020 Full Review Teo Bugbee New York Times The saving grace of this often enervating thriller is that Doscher grants time for his actors to build character and intimacy, and both Pinto and Odom offer warm, affectingly natural performances as two people facing the end of their world. Mar 5, 2020 Full Review Fred Topel Showbiz Cheat Sheet People are having trouble in 2020 quarantine without government raids taking their women. Imagine if the risk factors were exponentially worse. Jul 12, 2020 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix Does the world need another bleak post-apocalyptic movie? Not if it's as disappointing as this one. Jul 12, 2020 Full Review Cynthia Vinney CBR Yet the film is reminiscent of too many other, better movies and TV shows to be truly immersive, and its themes are too muddled to be truly provocative. While there are intriguing elements here, the whole is less than the sum of its parts. Apr 6, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Tammy S This was one of the worst movies I ever saw. Top ten, wish I could have ninety eight minutes back from my life. To start out, there were so many circumstances where common sense would have given them more of a chance of surviving. Secondly, there was nothing hopeful or happy remotely in this movie. Uou have to at least give your audience something to hope for. Screw you Takashi Doscher- go push your depressing plot somewhere else. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/19/24 Full Review Audience Member It was a good dystopian movie and for those complaining about the ending… how else could it have ended? I feel the time shifts in the movie made it more interesting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/10/24 Full Review 49 L The absolute worst movie I've watched in years! I literally created a profile just to rate this movie as low as possible!! This was the most pathetic ending to a movie ever!!! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Kyle K If you're into boring/purposeless movies this defiantly your style. It was visually interesting and directed well but just didn't "slap". Most of the movie is overly dark, like you can't see anything but it's cool. My daughter was psyched about Chandler Riggs being casted. Also the highlight was when I said "yo, that's CORAL". Personally, I was completely surprised. WOW!! The end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Proper dystopian fare. Holds one's attention well for a slow-paced story, good tension when present. Nicely written time shifts throughout. Difference between male and female characteristics are well observed and used to good effect. Something to watch more than once. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review jethro m This film had such potential. The core idea is solid and Odom's performance is captivating. However, Freida Pinto's acting is so bad that it becomes a distraction and highlights Doscher's very poor writing capability. It is frustrating to watch and a waste of time.
