Italian soccer giants AC Milan have extended their longstanding kit supply agreement with Adidas.
The new deal, announced earlier on 9th October at the Serie A club’s Milanello training facility, will see the German brand continue to supply all technical kit to the Rossoneri until 2023.
Adidas has supplied Milan’s kit since 1998. The current deal was due to run until the end of the 2016/17 season.
Financial terms of the latest agreement were not released but the previous deal was thought to be worth some €20 million (US$27 million) a year, making it the largest kit contract in Italian soccer.
Milan are one of a number of European giants in Adidas’ extensive soccer portfolio, which also includes the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. The brand now has all four of those teams tied down until at least 2020.
