DVD Releases for September 18, 2007
September 18th, 2007
There are even more TV on DVD releases this week, many of them worth adding to your DVD collection.
I would say that fans of TV on DVD might be tempted to mortgage their house in order to pay for all of the great sets coming out, but after the sub-prime meltdown, that's probably no longer an option. As for the DVD Pick of the Week, I decided to go with a David Hewlett double-shot with both Stargate Atlantis - The Complete Third Season and A Dog's Breakfast winning that honor.

The only holdover was 12:08 East of Bucharest with $10,108 in its lone theater.

Movie Website Updates for April 15 - April 21, 2007
April 21st, 2007
There were a few new flash sites to launch this week, but while there might be a couple future winners among those sites, it was a long time resident on this week's list that walked away with top honors. That site was Hot Fuzz - Official Site, which probably could have won several weeks ago if the features were added all at once. However, it's much better to spread the updates out in order to get people coming back week after week.

Limited Releases are Trippin' Out
April 20th, 2007
Looking at this week's list of limited releases, it's hard to pick a definite winner. Stephanie Daley has potential given its cast and reviews while The Tripper has a wide advantage in theater count, which could give it the edge this weekend. There are also a handful of foreign language films and one of them might surprise, but overall it doesn't look like a very strong batch of limited releases.
