Generals discuss strategy while cruising Padma

Army chiefs and top officials of 25 countries discussed building response capacity of land forces for environmental security on the second day of Pacific Armies Management Seminar (PAMS) yesterday.

The discussion was held on Bangladesh Army's Landing Craft Tank (LCT) Shaktisancher sailing on the river Padma.  

Col Ruben Segura of Chile and Brig Gen Dharma Bahadur Baniya of Nepal spoke, said an ISPR press release.

Afterwards, the officials attended a cultural show at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital.

Meanwhile, Commander of the US Army Pacific Gen Vincent Brooks called on Chief of Army Staff Gen Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan on Sunday.
