Maria Gabriella di Savoia-Carignano, Principessa di Savoia was born on 24 February 1940. She is the daughter of Umberto II di Savoia-Carignano, Re d'Italia and Marie José de Belgique, Princesse de Belgique.1 She and Robert Zellinger de Balkany were divorced in November 1990.1 She married Robert Zellinger de Balkany on 21 June 1969.
     She gained the title of Principessa Maria Gabriella di Savoia. She was given the name of Maria Gabrielle Guiseppa Aldegonda Adelaide Margherita Ludovica Felicita Gennara di Savoia-Carignano at birth. Her married name became Zellinger.
