UNESCO supported Battambang to promote Creative Cities Network (UCCN)

With technical assistance from the UNESCO Phnom Penh office, a two-day workshop on the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) was organized by the Battambang municipality together with the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts in Battambang from 23 to 24 May 2023. Approximately 60 participants joined the workshop including members of the City Administrations of Battambang, Kampot, Kratie and Siem Reap, Ministries of Culture and Fine Arts and Tourism, Provincial Departments, as well as the private sector and civil society, and restaurant owners and chefs from Battambang City.
