When trying to edit the name of any guest storage controller through the guest settings window, any typing places the edition cursor right at the end of the field. This happens for both existing and new controllers, both for IDE, SATA and SCSI controllers.
I've seen this behaviour both for VirtualBox 4.2.6 on FreeBSD and for VirtualBox 4.1.24 on OSX.
