We Go BTS For Nieve Ella's "Your Room"

We take a BTS look at the rising singer-songwriter’s vibrant visual for her latest single.

With a winning indie-pop formula that reinvents the old and pushes forward the sub-sound, West Midlands singer-songwriter Nieve Ella has found her feet in the industry with an impressive array of recent releases. She’s just announced a new EP, “Lifetime Of Wanting”, set for release on 1st September via AWAL Recordings, and has shard a new teaser single for the body of work.

The fresh offering, “Your Room”, is an anthemic and angsty indie-pop delight that flaunts the compositional and lyrical acumen of Ella, with a soaring hook, bright guitar work and textured production. The homely visuals are a light-hearted accompaniment to the memorable offering, with Nieve and her band inviting us in for a personal and characterful experience.

On the single, Nieve comments, “I used to feel so defined by what other people thought of me, it felt like such a weight on my shoulders and really brought me down. I wanted a song that felt like it lifted all of that away. It’s hard in the moment to sometimes remember how far I’ve come and how much has changed in my life, and this song is a celebration of that and everything I have today.”
